Visit Cake Recipe

Visit cake Ingredients Dough: 

  • 7 oz butter or margarine 
  • 5.5 oz sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 3 eggs 
  • ½ baking powder 
  • 16-17.5 oz flour 
Cream: 

  • 9 oz sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 7 oz butter
  • also: 2-3 lemons

Instructions:

  1. Peel the lemons. 
  2. Cream the butter with sugar and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs, peel, 3.5 oz of cold water. Combine everything well.
  4. Add baking powder, flour and mix the dough that is not tight.
  5. Separate the dough into 4-5 parts. Form a ball from each of it and place on the pan greased with butter (I have a pan that is 10” in diameter). Even out the dough with hands and punch in several places with a fork. Place the pan into the oven preheated to 350F. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Bake all the layers this way.
  6. Prepare the cream. Squeeze the juice out of lemons, so you will have 3.5 oz.
  7. Beat the eggs.
  8. Place sugar into a sauce pan, add lemon juice, 1.5 oz of water, flour, eggs. Bring to a boil.
  9. Remove the mix from heat; add oil and mix everything well. Cool the cream.
  10. Grease the baked layer with the rest of the cream. Cover with the next layer and grease with cream and etc. Let the cake absorb the cream for 8-10 minutes.
  11. Decorate the finished cake to taste. I decorated it with flowers from the sugar paste.
